Review summary

We were lucky, although rain had been forecasted for three ports, in the end, only one was rainy. Having a port almost everyday made time fly! But also more exhausting.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I missed having a walking deck around the ship, but managed to get around that. Everything was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Nice size, had everything we needed, but for me, the bed was too firm, giving me a backache every night.

Ship tip

Plan ahead, for your meal reservations, your excursions, etc. once you get onboard, a lot of slots are already filled.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Port was fine, easy to get on ship, did not do excursions.

Boston, Massachusetts

No excursion, did our own walking tour, visited a mansion, very historic city, lots of architecture to look at.

Portland, Maine

5 out of 5
No excursion, did our own walking tour, found some treasures that were not on any maps, such as a statue to John Ford, the film director.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
No excursion, did our own walking tour including the historical center/mansion. Good place for souvenirs.

Saint John, New Brunswick

Went on the St. Martins and the Bay of Fundy tour, which we enjoyed. Got an excellent view of the difference in the reversing falls, and low tide at the Bay.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
No excursion, did our own walking tour, took in the lovely Public Gardens, and some churches, generally just wandering around enjoying the town.
