Review summary

This was a very pleasant sailing, quite smoothe. I was a little disappointed that we didn't see many fall color changes. Trees were still quite green. I met many wonderful people on the cruise and enjoyed myself immensely. Staff and crew were always great.

Main Dining Room food and service was excellent. At Giovanni's the Filet Mignon was superb and service was as expected. However, the tomatoes for the Caprese Salad were NOT ripe. I would NEVER have served them to my guests.

Onboard Activities

I ran into a a Catholic Group that ame with their parish priest, I was able to attend 9:00 Mass every morning at the Blue Moon. What a truly unexpected privilege. It is too bad Front Desk on Royal would not promote it in their Cruise Compass.

Entertainment

The orchestra and musicians are amazing. Singers and dancers are always incredible. I was disappointed in the comedian, and missed the juggler and Featured Singer. I heard they were wonderful

Just to note if booking for Fall Foliage, you need to be arriving in Canada the last week of September or the first or second week of October in New England. Peak color season last only about 5-10 days in each general region (depends on summer rain conditions for area) and usually after 4-7consecutive nights of temps 50 or below.

Good Cruise to New England/Canada
