Review summary

The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. It was a nice getaway with good ports. Really didn't need shore excursions because we liked to walk around town and do our own exploring.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick ride to the port and check in was done online so we were on the ship in no time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Loved the convenience of the Windjammer. Food was good and there was enough variety. The MDR is a terrible option if you do My Time Dining. The lines are too long to check in and there is so much noise from the banging of silverware, clanging of plates and acoustics that make the room very loud and unenjoyable dining. Giovannis was very good and there was so much on the menu that we asked for smaller portions so we could taste different food.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the work out facilities and everything was pretty clean.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the evening comedy show and the movies at the pool. The karaoke was good.

Children's Programs

no kids traveling with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cabin steward was very good and everyone we encountered from the staff was all very nice.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Perfect sized ship for a shorter cruise. I used the stairs most of the time as everything was either a few floors below our cabin of on the level above our cabin.

Cabin / Stateroom

Bar Harbor, Maine

Great port where there is great places to eat, shop and sight see. Tender port but short ride.

Saint John, New Brunswick

5 out of 5
Wonderful port where there is plenty to see by walking into town. Nice stroll to the shore where there are cool rocks and great places to take scenery pictures.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Had a great lobster roll just near the port. Enjoyed walking off ship through the market next to the terminal to buy T shirts. Town is quiet and it has a pretty waterfront area.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Pretty quick to exit ship and quick trip back to the airport. It is a bit of a walk to get to the Uber pick up area.
