Yes it was spring break and there were lots of children. We are a group of 11 seniors reuniting and had a ball just the same. Probably pool areas got little use by us but it was quite windy up there anyway. Hot tub in the solarium worked fine. Wished that the balconies would offer adjoining access.
Embarkation

very easy! no photos since I had done the online photo; no health survey. Stateroom keys were in the doorway to our room
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate nightly in the main dining room and the staff was very good about seating our group of 11 together. Th only glitch was I had booked online My time dining reservations for us all at 6:30 and they made us change it to 6 pm so the table would not be given away to others who presented before 6:30. What good does an advance reservation do I wondered. We all thought the food was quite good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Shows mainly. Took so many excursions left little time on ship.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The ice show was fun, the other entertainment was pretty good too, but we did not see anything really outstanding except the "Gaucho" entertainer who was very good.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

Very willing to go the extra mile to please us.
Ship Quality

I wish they had the kind of partitions between balcony rooms that open. We would have enjoyed that. Very attractive décor throughout.
Cabin / Stateroom

Ample storage and seating . Bed was quite firm though. Cleanliness was great.
Ship tip
Distribution of liquor purchased off ship nees better organization. There was a big line to pick up packages on the morning of debarkation. I put mine in a carry on and then forgot to transfer to checked baggage at the airport, thus the TSA got the benefits of my purchase. Not happy about that. Don't make the same mistake!
While the sights aling th developed resort areas seems beautiful and all, the interior of this island is horribly impoverished, Roads were awful on the bus tour we took. We visited a primary school and found the poverty heartwrenching.
Clearly the financial businesses of Grand Cayman have brought prosperity to this island. It looked like a nice place to live. Our tour was rushed due to slow traffic from 3 ships being in at the same time and the beach escape time was totally userped by the long wait for food service at the restaurant we visited.
Went to a Mexican cooking class where we made a 3 course meal which became lunch. Open bar, nice pools and expansive lovely beach facility. Not a lot of shops there but a pleasant way to spend the day.
