Review summary

We made the best out of it. We had a good time with friends. After sailing first on the oasis class Harmony the Adventure was a big let down and we got bored fast. We loved our wait staff in the MD.

3 out of 5
Entertainment was not as fun as my last cruise.

4 out of 5
Service was good in the restaurants. Customer service was not as friendly and they should have been.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was mostly clean. Layout works fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5

Ship tip

Go oasis class. Skip the skimpy ship

Ports of call

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Did an excursion. Duns river. Very busy there. Port was ok. Very trashy along the roads.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Beautiful place! Enjoyed the dolphin encounter.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
Hated this port. Sales huts were pushy. Seemed like you could find a lot of knock off items here. Didn’t feel very safe.

Cozumel, Mexico

2 out of 5
I did like my time in Cozumel but I didn’t feel safe here because people kept asking us if we wanted to buy drugs. I felt strange about the pharmaceutical stores in town.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
A little congested but not bad.

Small? My parents fishing boat is small. Adventure is a great ship.

It is sad when people think there is nothing to do on a cruise ship. Maybe you need to find another type of vacation then. Big ships have longer lines and more congestion. Not to mention usually cost more.

Small ship?! We were just on the Adventure in November and loved it. We loved the size and there is more to do on board than we will ever need. I can’t imagine being bored or running out of things to do. Why do so many need to constantly need to be entertained? It seems many never learned how to just relax on a deck chair, read a good book, do a crossword puzzle, take a nap or the joy of doing nothing at all.

138,000 GT is skimpy? Only when you compare to the 228,000 GT Oasis ships. Harmony/Symphony are the culmination of 20 years of development starting with Voyager. Don't overlook the Voyager class, RC hasn't. You still have your Flowrider, your Promenade shops, Rock climbing, ice skating, Izumi, Johnny Rockets, Giovanni's, chops grille, English pub, viking crown lounge, diamond and suite lounges, solarium, imperial lounge, outdoor screen. Lazer tag, waterslides, Lime and Coconut are coming soon after it's amplification. You are right though, it isn't an Oasis class ship.
