Review summary

Of all the Royal Caribbean cruises I've taken this one is at the bottom.  The people on board were very friendly and helpful.  The food wasn't great.  I was really looking forward to some great meals but was disappointed a number of times.  Even the Prime Rib, which I'd looked forward to from the start was ruined by a brown gravy that had been used on other meals I had already had.  Normally the food is great on these cruises, but not this time.  Also, the cruise director needs to make sure there is no overlap of activities in the same area.  We were watching the movie Dr Strange on deck and 1/2 way thru they held a dance class on the same pool deck.  Needless to say we couldn't here the movie.  After about 1/2 hour the class was over then you could here the end of Dr Strange.  The ports were nice - my favorite was the Catamaran Cruise to the Turtles in Barbados and SeaTrek in St Maarten. We did have issues with a couple of the tours.  This vacation had such potential.

The cabin was supposed to sleep 4 adults (2 beds and a pull out sofa). When we got there the sofa was not a pull out and the only other bed was the bunk bed. Our cabin steward was able to get us a roll away bed that took up a good chunk of space when pulled out. Luckily there was only 3 of us! The outside balcony was awesome and had 4 chairs (go figure)!

Ship tip

Try the cupcakes from the Windjammer or the café on Deck 5, they were the BEST thing on the cruise!
