Review summary
This was our second time sailing on Adventure of the seas, the first time was in July 2003 when the ship was nearly new. I like the Adventures layout better than any of the other ships i have sailed upon, of which there are many. She is still in great shape, they have kept everything top notch. The service is very good. However the food quality has taken a dive, specifically with the sea food and deserts. I ordered several seafood dishes including shrimp cocktail, clams, fish of the day, etc. they all had an overly fishy flavor, the deserts nearly alll are a pan style pudding and the souffle I had was not fresh, it had a thick skin on top. The premium restaurant Giovanni's was super Fantastic, specifically the pasta, best i have ever had.
The ports of call were good however, Saint Kits is quite lacking, a sea day would be preferable. Saint Martin, Saint Lucia, Antigua are my favorites.
