Review summary

Here is what I had to say to Royal (Other cruise lines were much better):

1. Provide clean towels and wash clothes with out having to ask them.

2. Clean the stateroom

3. The state room bath rooms need to be cleaned daily because of the moisture mildew and mold grow fast.

4. BETTER BUFFET FOOD. Really we had Spanish rice, pasta, and ham for breakfast lunch and dinner. Why? Can we get more three fruit options. Add some lime to the key lime pie that you only had once the entire week....

5. Filter the drinking water. the last two days the water tasted like dirt.

6. Can you get some songs from 2005 and new on the Karaoke list?

7. Can you play a mix of music in the club.

8. Where were the sail away parties?

9. You should have staff tell people not to sit on the bottom of the steps and block the stairs and door ways.

10. Better description of the shore excursions. Please don't call it a beach tour if I am not going to make it to beach, please say a flamingo tour and I will not get to see any flamingos.

lele0132    8 years ago

Some people waste the time with stupid issues and forget to spend a good time.

I went on this ship in 2014 and have to agree with bugs, it was awful, dirty plates, cutlery and glasses etc, I compared my cruise to previous RC cruises which I totally enjoyed. People are entitled to view their opinions good or bad as each person will see things differently.

It is hard not to be happy when on vacation. Try to enjoy the service and not complain.

Well said deboftheseas.....we were on this ship the week before bugsharmony and had a brilliant time. Our stateroom attendant couldnt do enough for us and the room was spotless. I think it depends on how you treat people..with a bit of respect...and not a like a slave...

Okay, throw towels on the bathroom floor after use and you will receive clean ones. if you keep hanging up the wet ones they consider you to be saving the environment, there is a sign to this effect in the bathrooms. put sign on door so they know you are out of the stateroom, and they come in and clean, twice a day, yes Twice. sail away is on the pool deck of all cruise lines and cruise ships directly following The Muster Drill...you must be new at this. In Bonaire they don't guarantee you'll see Flamingos, the same as who can guarantee a whale will show up on. Whale watching tour. you pay your money and take your chances on this sort of tour. as far as the buffet goes, try pleasing 3500 people...too spicy, not spicy enough, too hot, too cold, not enough, too much etc. they do their best to try to please alot of tastes. sorry you weren't pleased with your experience, maybe a 5+ star resort is more to your liking
