Review summary

Overall: The ship has seen better days. (My understanding the ship will be going to dry dock this October.) The ship it was clean but the common area chairs, seating, cushions etc showed a lot of wear and tear.

As for the food it was overall just average. Even the "specialty dining " was just a little above average.

Onboard Activities

To many of the activities revolved around shopping and or charging you for use of the facilities.

Entertainment

We only went to one show (on the first night) It was ok but people kept getting up and walking out. I think this was due to the fact that the majority of the audience was Spanish speaking and did not understand the type of comedy being delivered.

Service and Staff

The Service in the main dining room was Fantastic. Our waiters could not have done a better job. Cabin steward was nice but several times she made animals out of our wet towels and placed them on the bed. (Leaving a wet spot on the sheets.)

The overall design was very good but again the ship has seen better days.

Cabin / Stateroom

The stateroom was dated and worn. The bed was hard as a rock. The bathroom had a number of issues. (Toilet seat was broken and moved all over the place. (Asked to have it fixed the cabinet attendant did what she could.) The shower doors did not have the proper seals to keep water from leaking onto the floor.

My wife and I were on the Adventure Oct '15... had a wonderful time... will be onboard again Jan '17... Can't wait to see the upgrades!

So they are getting rid of the cigar bar? That sucks, every trip we take with our group we always get together one night for cigars and scotch. Just like the atmosphere

You can go to el yunque the largest rainforest on the world. To fajardo to the bioluminescense beach. And if you have the time to guanica to El bosque seco ( dry forest)...its beautiful. And san juan is his own atraction...sorry for the mistakes writing jaja

I would never cancel for a few upgrades...honestly, it would be awesome but I'm not picky and I have cruised on brand new ships. I'm 38 days out and wouldn't entertain the thought of canceling

It will be like a brand new ship. If you havnt been on it before then maybe no. But we have been on her 7 times and it will be good to see the difference when we go back on her..

They are adding the flowrider. Putting chops grille where giovanni is at the moment. Jesters nightclub will become giovannis. The library is being moved to the smoking room on deck 5. Where the library is now they are adding inside staterooms. New carpets throughout ship. Updating the staterooms.
