Review summary

The Adventure of the Seas has seen better days. It needs a full refurbishment from inside out. The night events at the theater were not the greatest either.

5 out of 5
The food at the Main Dining Room was excellent every night.

Night shows at the theater were very short and not up to date. The only exception was "El Gaucho", who performed very well.

5 out of 5
Edi at the dining room exceeded all expectations of what service is all about.

Getting $61 million refit according to the Royal Caribbean blog. 100 new staterooms added. Chops grille and Izumi restaurant added. Water slides and flow rider added. New carpets and stateroom updated.. Cant wait till April 2017...

I really love those negative reviews.. I hope it keeps a lot of people from cruising so that I can go more often 😀

I just got off the Adventure yesterday and I couldn't disagree more with this review. Yes it needs to be maintained/updated here and there but not from "the inside out" and the entertainment was top class, I enjoyed it a lot better on Adventure than when I sailed on the Oasis a few years ago

The review left 46 minutes ago is what most are saying. I can't wait to cruise in July on Adventure. I will leave a review w tons of detail and be objective :-)

I'm referring mainly to who wrote this review. Again, give specifics, give examples. Blanket statements don't work for me.

If you are referring to me, check my cruise history and keep scrolling down, I've been around and mostly on RC, I agree they maintain them, but Adventure is the last in its class to be redone with new carpet and bedding, flowriderts etc

I've been on very old rc ships and brand new rc ships. They are maintained so well that I can't tell a lot of difference but I'm not picky. I have an issue with reviews that say things like it's seen better days or it's tired w no examples. Plus,my experience is most that leave this type of review have cruised lower tier lines and expect the moon and stars at rc, :-)

And both its itineraries are spectacular, that's what keeps it going

deboftheseas    8 years ago

It's tired, the rooms need updated, look at pictures of Navigator since it's return and expect the same on Adventure after its drydock in October

What was off about the ship? What other lines and ships are you comparing to? Also, how was the itinerary?

We were on her in April. We had a great time. Ship was very clean and had a blast! Crew was fabulous. Make sure you do the Quest game show. It was hilarious!

davidallen96    8 years ago

Apart from that you had a good time though?

colleenklish    8 years ago
