Review summary

This was our first cruise so we didn't really have anything to compare it to, but we had a wonderful time.  The ports were great and the excursions we participated in were a lot of fun.  When on the ship, there was always something to do since there were so many options.  Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the staff we met on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

We are so glad that we upgraded to a balcony stateroom. It provided so many opportunities to just sit back and relax and additional vantage points for coming in and out of ports.

Ship tip

Love the adult pool, where you don't have to get caught up in activities at the main pool and you can actually find some pool chairs with shade. Took us a couple days to find the access to the observation point/helo pad via deck 4. Johnny Rockets definitely didn't live up to our expectations.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We thoroughly enjoyed going through the forts at old San Juan.

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

Not much to the town, though it was a nice beach right near the dock.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Loved the yacht race excursion. It was a lot of fun and still left time to walk and shop.

St. John's, Antigua

Can't say enough about the bird island kayaking and snorkeling excursion. We didn't actually snorkel, but we stayed on this beautiful beach while others did. The conclusion of the trip was worth the price of admission.

Castries, St. Lucia

This island is like a south pacific island. There's a shopping area right next to the dock which is handy and we had a great time at the Hotwire Peton Zip Line excursion. A lot of fun!

Bridgetown, Barbados

The most industrialized island of the group, if I were to do it again, I think I'd ensure I had an excursion for this site since you dock in a more industrial area.
