Overall Very Nice

Sail Date: June 11, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

First cruise on RCI - 6th cruise overall. Less than a third of passengers spoke English - to our surprise- and clientele was much older than our experiences on Princess. Ports were great, but re-boarding the ship was very poorly handled - extremely inefficient! Worst was reembarking after Livorno - went to same port with Princess 3 years ago and it was handled much better. Also, art program was very amateurish and could in no way compare to Princess.

Pros: Ports

Cons: Inefficiencies

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Food was fair to good, but service was excellent.
Cabin / Stateroom
Smaller rooms and balconies than same level on Princess.
Ship Quality
Older ship.
Entertainment
Not as many choices for evening entertainment.
Service and Staff
Excellent service.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Wonderful amazing city! Spend the whole day. Taking the train is the best way to go in.
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Florence is an amazing city. But getting back on ship after this port was terrible with RCI (better with Princess).
Ajaccio, Corsica
Valencia, Spain
