Joke of a Cruise by JasonM9

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Paradise / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

This was a joke. By the time you get all situated on the boat, you've turned around and are home. It really was a waste of time.

Bad Service by Daud

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Paradise / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

We booked for four of us with this company for a carnival cruis. First of all the port was changed due to swine flu from Mexico to catalina. The never offered us a credit for future cruis and demanded full payment 1400.00 for a cruis to catalina. On the day of our cruis we had a death in the family and we had to go to canada. when we come back we contacted them for a refund/credit. The refused both options in a very rude manner. The just want your money and have no emotions towards any situation you might be in.

Great first cruise by ThomasK4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

This was my first cruise and I was impressed. I met alot of people and enjoyed myself. I plan on taking many cruises in the future. The crew was great, except a guy who had to clean a dancefloor of glass. He acted like he really was annoyed to do his job. I will go cruising again real soon.

<img class='agent-replacement' src='/images/hideagent.png'> / Carnival Cruise Nightmare Fiasc by JohnA7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

I liked when I purchased ticket and they guaranteed the price with Carnival onboard discounts which they refused to honor on board. Spent the whole cruise trying to straighten out the issue only to meet rude, disrespectful customer service. Totally ruined my vacation and would never book thru or Carnival Cruise Line ever again. This is my fourth cruise and I have never encountered such disregard for the customer and hostile customer service. Thanks Carnival, thanks . NOT!!!!

Overall great trip by CindyD5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Paradise / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

Check-in was very quick and easy, no problems. Ship was very comfortable. Nice deck areas with sufficient deck chairs. Ship was kept clean with friendly personnel. Food was fine, but somewhat bland and repetitive. We took our own luggage off the ship rather than setting out the night before, which made disembarkation painless.

fantastic time for all by KateR

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Splendor / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

From the moment we started the embarkation to the last wave as we pulled out of the parking lot at the end of the trip the experience exceeded our expectations. The beautiful lines of the ship with its trademark "fin" to the well appointed balcony rooms on the spa level we were "wowed". We had spa rooms so we had unlimited use of the steam rooms and the thala therapy pool which we took full use of. The staff was professional and always available. The satisfied looks on the passengers' faces as they left their massages said it all. The dining room (Black Pearl) although oddly decorated with as one teen noted "fried eggs on the ceiling" didn't detract as much as facinate us. The roof over the pool was a huge bonus as our trip had been diverted to Canada (instead of Mexico). The cool weather was never a factor due to the roof (limited use of the slide though). My teens (age 13, 15 and 19) had a blast. They loved the teen clubs and activities. They stayed up late, slept in and I never heard any of them say "I'm bored". All of us are looking forward to our next trip.

Fantastic Cruise!!!! by DebbieM18

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Splendor / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

Carnival Splendor Cruise was awesome! Our family got the "Spa" rooms which was the biggest highlight of the cruise. With this room we were able to use the Spa facilities throughout the whole cruise without being charged extra. The Spa is amazing, beautiful, has many therapy rooms to enjoy, and was very very relaxing. We had our own elevator with special entrance to the Spa and could literally get into the spa in about 3 minutes from our room. They had soft robes, slippers, and towels for us to use.

Fantastic Cruise by SurgeP

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

The ship was beautiful, a wonderful experience. They treat you like royalty once on board. They only problem I had was with the other people on board. Some of them were rich snobs that thought they were so great. I was told cruises are for fun, people people, etc. Some of these people were just rude and anti-social. I was not expecting that, but what can you do? a lot of them did not want to dance, participate in activities, etc. They all just sat there, I wondered, what is wrong with them? Ow well, I had a lot of fun, danced, ate, swam, exercised, and ate some more. It was a wonderful experience.

Wonderful Ship by Tomb111

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

Embarking and Debarking was very easy. The ship was wonderful. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly, the Captain and Cruise Director were the best we have ever had on a cruise. Food and presentation were very good. The theatre production was good, but the ice show was definately Las Vegas quality. Very Impressive. Didn't care much for either comedian. Juggler was good. Loved the nothern itinerary for a change.

A relaxing and fun vacation by AndreaR4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Splendor / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

We we're a family of 5 with balcony rooms next to eachother. We had a lovely time our youngest at 12 really enjoyed the kids club and had lots to do. Are two older might have been a bit more bored too old for club, and most passengers seemed to be our age 50ish. We're not partiers so the entertainment just isn't our thing. But loved the big screen tv above the pool, my husband got to watch the Lakers final there. The weather was great in Victoira and Vancouver. Could have done without the stop to Astoria Oregon. The food was good and plenty of it. The chocolate buffet just about put me over the edge.

Well Organized Cruise by LindaW3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

When you see the size of this ship it will take your breath away! I have cruised eleven times and this ship is the largest ship I have been on. For the amount of people which was upwards of three thousand people I was amazed how well they serviced everyone. However, this ship lacks in a personal feeling that one gets with a smaller ship. I don't think I ever saw the same people twice. If that doesn't bother you, than this is a great ship for you. I think the design caters to a party crowd. The center promonade reminded me of main street at Disneyland. There was lots of things which would appeal to the younger set such as minature golf, ice skating, rock climbing, inline skating, and basketball to name a few. And these are all at no extra charge. Food was excellent in the dining room. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. The ship was very well maintained and clean at all times.

The ship was nice but very pink. The food was okay. Our waiter was fabulous. The cabin steward was not very good. The ports of call were wonderful.
