We had a great time on the Elation! it was reasonably priced, but service and food was the same as a more expensive ship. Our family had a great time. The kids thought the pool was a little chilly and weren't fond of the salt water, but the games and relaxing in the sun were enough to keep them happy.

Relaxing and yet it is entertaining.

IT WAS MY PARENTS' 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY EARLY THIS YEAR AND MY BROTHER AND MY SISTER-IN-LAW'S 60TH BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR ALSO AND AS A PRESENT I GAVE THEM THIS CRUISE TRIP. OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS JOINED US AS WELL AND EVERYONE HAD A GOOD TIME. OVERALL, I WOULD SAY NOT ONLY WAS THIS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE GIFT FOR THE OCCASSION BUT THE FUN AND THE MEMORIES THAT WE HAD WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS. ALREADY WE ARE PLANNING FOR A REPEAT CRUISE NEXT YEAR BECAUSE OF THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WE'VE HAD IN THIS CRUISE. THE STAFF WERE ALWAYS NICE AND FRIENDLY, THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE ENTERTAIMENT WAS ACTUALLY FABULOUS. I'VE BEEN TO SEVERAL CRUISES IN THE PAST BOTH INTERNATIONAL AND LOCAL AND I'D SAY THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST. THANK YOU CARNIVAL ELATION STAFF AND CREW, YOU ARE AWESOME.

The food was great, the crew was great, we would have liked warmer weather but neither of us have been to San Franscisco, Victoria BC or Seattle so we enjoyed the ports of call

Great trip the itenarary was changed at the last moment ,My wife and i took our mothers for mothers day. Royal Caribean steped up and made the trip wonderful. took a negitive (the itenerary change) made us very comfortable and welcomed . Thanks Royal Caribean for making it right

The ship was larger than we expected,it was fun to explore all the things they had available.It was very well kept. the crew was great always asking if we needed anything.Even remembering our names.There was enough variety in restaurants to choose from and the musical variety was great.We missed the first show of the cruise but the last on was very good and very enjoyable.

Our first night on the ship we ordered two glasses of wine, the two cheapest as we are not wine drinkers. The waiter actually laughed at us and said "oh great, the cheap glasses". We were so insulted. The last night there the toilets on our entire desk were clogged and could not be flushed. The staff treated us with bad manners and it was a horrible experience.

The ship is always very clean. The staff are incredibly patient and service oriented.

It was nice. Very bright. Was a little on the older side.

I have been on 11 cruises and this was the least impressive-see pro's and con's above seemed like staff was only going through the motions -food adequate-entertainment minimum-not enough staff at any event or lounge

well this was my first cruise as was my moms, and we loved it! it was so much fun we cant wait to go again! the food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond anything i had ever seen tomake us happy! they even brought me two desserts and entrees because i could not choose one over the other! the only thing i would suggest is to have motion sickness pills or patches before u board because they do nothing for you after you get sick unfortunately.

Even though the ship was older with not as many ammenities as the newer ships, our family still found ways to have fun together.

Ship was comfortable with fairly good entertainment, nothing exotic, but nice to watch. The restaurants for the formal dinner were nice and plenty of snack areas for great pastry and drinks.

Ship was clean, attendents friendly, dining room staff great.

It was a good cruise. Especially enjoyed San Francisco.

seemed to be a lot of thought given to the decor as it very tasteful both in the dining rooms, bars and the two main pool areas.

The ship was nice, clean and attractively decorated but that is where it ends. Overall the cruise was just average to below average. The best part of this ship was by far the room. It had plenty of closet and living space and a slightly smaller than average shower. Negatives, The dining room staff was less than friendly and were short handed The Staff on board made us feel as if we were just a bother because it was a repostion cruise FOOD ON BOARD WAS PATHETIC at BEST!!!!! Worst food I have ever had on 7 cruises by far. The Buffet was really poor as far as layout, selection, quality and taste. During the entire cruise the temperature on the ship was extremly warm as if they never turned on the air conditioning through the public areas and the rooms also would not cool very well. Thankfully it was not warm out and we could open the balcony door for cool air. Very disorganized dismbarkation process.

The Diamond Princess is a grand ship that still seems intimate. The crew is fantastic, always friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and the service outstanding! The variety of entertainment suits all types of tastes.

Golden princess was a lovely ship. The staff was outstanding. Everywhere, they exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent. The shows were terrific... and I have cruised before.

The Oosterdam is Great! She's Big, and pretty New. We are 8 people from age 19-28. We enjoyed our vacation except the Music at Northern Lights are not re-mixed for young people to dance.
