Review summary

Ship was comfortable with fairly good entertainment, nothing exotic, but nice to watch. The restaurants for the formal dinner were nice and plenty of snack areas for great pastry and drinks.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Foods were pretty basic. No steaks or lobsters, but things like turkey, small portions of beef and pork, some fish and braised lamb

Entertainment

3 out of 5
My wife really enjoyed the Spa for massage, facial. The shows were fine, but no name entertainment but full regardless. Had a good comedy show as well

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great people and service, and in most cases, pretty entertaining

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was nice and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Rooms were adequate, but the shower water temps varied from cold to hot every 8 seconds. Be prepared to boogie about the shower stall.

Ports of call

Nanaimo, British Columbia

3 out of 5
Never heard of that city before, but we did our own tour. Nice town with friendly people and the best halibut and chips in the world at the wharf.
Don't Miss: See the church. Organ player is almost hidden in his white robe with jeans and tennis shoes

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Butterfly gardens and Butchart Gardens were spectacular, even in the rain!
Don't Miss: Have high tea at the Empress Hotel, a little pricey, but once in a lifetime experience, and I don't even like tea

Pros: Staff was great, food was wonderfully prepared

Cons: Types of food weren't near as elegant as past cruises. Simple and basic
