Our first on Oceania and made us realize there is a better cruise line! by Kauaiswimmer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Marina / Destination: South Pacific

We loved our experience on this cruise so much that we booked seven more cruises within a few days of embarking. Sioux Shelton was the onboard ambassador, and we got to know here very well. She is intelligent, funny, and does her job with alacrity. She helped us plan cruises for 2019, and we are looking forward to seeing her again. We live on a small, paradise island in Hawaii so were not as impressed with the islands in French Polynesia as much as the other passengers. No matter where we venture in life, it's always great to come home.

Amazing cruise , with an amazing cruise company. The whole experience was a seamless operation from start to finish. The ship was excellent, the staff were beyond excellent! We will definitely do more cruises after this one! Dont believe the bad reviews, we read them before coming onboard and got really nervous. We had nothing to worry about - it was the best experience and best holiday we have ever had - great work RC!

Overall we had a great time and won't hesitate to cruise with Royal Caribbean again. We had friends with us who were cruising for the first time and they loved it.

Poor attitude of staff by jeanoldbean

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Astor / Destination: Australasia

I think this cruise is OK if it is your introduction to cruising. If you go on bigger ships and see how efficient they are then you can only compare them with the lack of efficiency on the Astor.

Good Australia and New Zealand Cruise Experience by gblume

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Maasdam / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

Overall great cruise, with many nice ports of call, friendly ship which never felt crowded or rushed, small enough to get to know many other people, great crew, and despite its small size and less offerings than bigger ships, there was plenty to do.

Had a fantastic time very relaxing time! by Jjsnacks

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This cruise had a wonderful relaxing experience not too many things happening at once. The staff, waiters And cleaners were great. One little issue I had was I am hearing impaired they should have movies or TV in room that's has subtitles or shows that has screen with subtitles or interpreters that way I can understand what is going on so we are not missing out a lot of things. I believe deaf people deserve to have captions or interpreters on the cruise to have much better enjoyable experience.

AWESOME!! by Katsnax

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Maasdam / Destination: Australasia

Cruise was fantastic; land excursions very informative. Due to potential bad weather, the captain sailed into Auckland a day early. A land excursion was offered which I took...it was very nice! I met some very nice people who I plan to keep in contact with. Because of America Airlines flight cancellations, was able to stay in 4 extra days.

Enjoyable sailing on Radiance by Jubes44

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

Overall we had a very good time on the ship, the food was excellent as was our wait service. My only complaint was with the location of our room the noise at night, it was very loud. There were live bands every night until almost midnight. They really need to do something about this and change it.

Awesome family holiday by thermiecarmie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This was our first cruise and we all just loved it. Being able to do eat anytime and so much good stuff to do on board. I'm not sure I would bother paying for a balcony next time. We only used it for wet togs! We will definitely do another cruise.
