We really enjoyed the New Zealand cruise by friasmaria

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Noordam

We really enjoyed Australia and New Zealand. The ship was nice and the crew was wonderful. However, the cruise had a little too many days at sea.

Great food and itinerary on a beautiful ship by geosalem

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Edge

Great time on the Edge. (Prefer entertainment on Apex more, but the Edge is just fine). Service was great (except Eden restaurant.) Good itinerary (AU to NZ and back), but led to sea sickness for some.

The Land Down Under! by dbialkin

Ship: Celebrity Edge

We had a wonderful time on our cruise. The staff on Celebrity Edge are all attentive and friendly at all times, the amenities are top-notch, and the theatre is excellent.

I've lost faith in Royal Caribbean by stevejensen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Brilliance of the Seas

I've taken 6 or 7 cruises on Royal Caribbean in the past but after this cruise I am no longer looking at Royal Caribbean cruises. They have lost my business.

Awesomely relaxing 14- day New Zealand/ Australia by OlderTraveler

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Noordam

A great cruise for people wanting to spend meaningful time together. While there are plenty of enjoyable activities on and off the ship, there are also plenty of quieter moments and spaces in which to enjoy the moment.

Only visited two ports. Both were enjoyable. Expected compensation for missing the other ports. Unfortunately that did NOT happen 😡

28-Night Round Australia Cruise by ehcarroll15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess

Overall, this circumnavigation cruise of Australia took us to amazing destinations in a more efficient manner than flying from place to place...and we only had to unpack once!

Great Itinerary by SJG56

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Solstice

This is a wonderful itinerary offering stops in Australia, Bali, and Singapore. All the ports had something different to offer so it was a fabulous experience. The Solstice is a beautiful ship but is showing its age and could use some updates.

Great Princes Cruise by lkanap

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess

This was our (me and my wife) first cruise and we didn’t really know what to expect other than what we read in the website (and told by customer service rep). We chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Sydney and Auckland. From that standpoint, Majestic Princes definitely did not disappoint us. The ship itself is incredible. A lot of things to do during 5 days travel. There was definitely no shortage of fun no matter what your taste. The service was impeccable. Our stateroom attendant, Steve, was perfect. So nice and offered lots of great advice. We ate in the buffets mostly, the food was great. Overall, value for money!

New Zealand Cruise Is A Wonderfu Adventure by lgreg307

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ovation of the Seas

This is a great cruise itenarary if you want to get a sample of ports of New Zealand. One disappointment was that Royal Caibbean at onbe time offered Hobart, Tasmania as a port of call. On should also be aware that you may experience rough seas, but a ship such as the Ovation of the Seas can handle it fairly well, and that is part of the adventure.

Itinerary Excellent on a tired ship by weingartphillip

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grand Princess

We like the character of these older ships with the caveat they are well maintained. That was not the case with leaking water from ceilings, non functional elevators, broken exercise equipment, and dated amenities. The food was occasionally good but mostly not. Nothing special about the specialty dinning.

Lots of room for improvement by jodila

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess

This is the first time I have cruised with Princess and sadly I was not impressed. I have cruised with other cruise lines that I enjoyed much better. Communications were poor, accounting for OBC was poor, entertainment was boring. The one thing I really liked was Debbie Sheilds (?) the destination expert, but by the time she gave her presentations, the good excursions were already sold out, and there usually wasn't enough time at port to take the chance to do anything worthwhile on your own. The amount of time we stood in line to get off and on the ship was unreasonably long.

Great Itinerary but service lacking big time by weingartphillip

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess

This was our third sailing on the Majestic (and our last). The service and food quality has been lowered each subsequent sailing. Suggest customers instead carefully select from smaller, older Princess ships that have som character and some semblance of quality food and service.
