We had a wonderful time on our cruise. The staff on Celebrity Edge are all attentive and friendly at all times, the amenities are top-notch, and the theatre is excellent.

The main dining rooms and Oceanview cafe were fine. We missed having the one main dining room and sitting with the same guests and staff every night. We always enjoyed that aspect of cruising. The Fine Cut Steakhouse was spectacular.

Backstage tour was great - we're theatre people, so it was a real treat to see the whole operation onboard. Zumba, Aqua and Fun Dance classes, walking track. All were excellent.

The cabin was perfect for us. The sofa was a bit stained, but other than that, the furniture was great, spotlessly clean and well cared for, and there was plenty of storage space.
Ship tip
If you book with an outside travel agent, do NOT book your flight through Celebrity. They cancelled our entire reservation due to "lack of payment" because we weren't billed for the flight that we booked on their website.
We took the "Journey to Middle Earth" excursion. Our guide was excellent and seeing the sites was amazing. Lunch wasn't great, but that wasn't why we were there.
Thank you everyone! To the person who asked if there was a tea kettle in the cabin - no. I don't think any cruise line would allow it; it's too much of a potential fire hazard. But we did have a small refrigerator, which was really helpful.

Merry Christmas and thank you for the wonderful review of the edge. We will be going to Hawaii on a 10-day on the edge May 1st and, after over 20 cruises, will finally be sailing celebrity for the first time. Really excited about it! 😝
