A true mixed bag experience—I had gone on this trip to write a travel piece but received ZERO communication within this ship or Royal Caribbean, after many attempts. You are charged, sometimes, twice, a high gratuity. The packages offered were for the most part were very expensive, cocktails in particular $$$. Food and service, staff—excellent. Things could be better.

A much needed vacation full of relaxation and fun activities by ZacBrown

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

It was a fantastic vacation where we met a lot of nice people! I'm sure this is intentional but we were paired with another couple at dinner and I did not expect to hit it off with them as well as we did. We became very close with them and are actually planning another trip with them next year. The staff was fantastic and the food was top notch for the most part. If you are fine with fun and lowd activities especially if you are taking your family then this cruise is a must experience!

Crowded cruise ship by josephanderson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

We love cruising. Had a good time on this cruise. Unfortunately, it is the truth that the "perks" of being a loyal Diamond member have significantly decreased over the years. We noticed this as well last Thanksgiving when we cruised on this same ship: embarkation/check-in is no longer convenient as it once was; the Royal "App" is terrible, it simply lacks in all areas and needs improvement (given that we are essentially compelled to use it, the APP needs improvement); the "pre check-in" is a total waste of time; some staff members on the pier at embarkation need to be fired for their rudeness. While Disney is more expensive, I am starting to see why it may be worth the price.

Good days by BRASILIANGUESTS

My suggestion is for the reservation ticket adding the port exactly address of the ship. It's a trouble for international person.

Enjoyed the options for entertainment. Food was okay and what you would expect. Drinks were a little weak but refreshing by the pool.

My wife and I had a great time, but none of this would have been possible without the super, extremely, helpful and amazing Representative of CHERYL CURRY. I honestly hope she deserves a lots of credit. Her assistance and follow-up is unmatched. Thank you Cheryl😊

Our travel agent didn’t know the ship at all. Food was pretty bad and flavorless. Even though my mom books a year out we’re we not set in a cabin near her. We were all very disappointed

First Time Cruiser - Awesome Experience by R2R2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

I am a first-time cruiser and I am hooked. From the entertainment, food, activities around the ship, and the excursions, this is the perfect vacation get way to unplug. The professionalism of the staff made you feel so welcomed. And the performers were simply excellent. I will be back in November for another trip.

Mixed bag of experience by Maksim26

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

We have 2 kids (6 and 2). The food was very hit or miss. We ate at MDR for dinner, Windjammer for lunch, MDR for Breakfast, and various other places throughout the day to get snacks for the kids. My boys eat soup all the time at home but all the soups on the ship were incredibly salty and made them almost inedible. For 1 of the 3 night dinners in MDR the food was not good at all and the "steak" was overcooked. Staff was great. I had a 7 day booked for next year but I think we will be changing to another ship because of how disappointing the food was. The weather was very cold (66F) for early July, the itinerary was swapped and I believe it shouldn't have been since the at sea day would have been much warmer if it hadn't been. Out of my 3 cruises (Celebrity and Norwegian being the other two), this was the worst food experience.
