Unfortunately we got sick with cold on the second day of our cruise, ( too many people were coughing and sneezing) we stayed in our cabin for most of the cruise.

Crown princess is an old ship. Total 9 days at sea with lack of seating at shows and swimming pools with very cold water.

Dream Vacations was a pleasure! The regular meetings and e-mails kept us fully informed, the handy checklists and guidance provided at the last meeting were much appreciated and Cathy and Rhonda are just fun to be around! They adjusted as plans changed, filled an unexpected empty day with an affordable and enjoyable tour, and never made us feel like our questions were an interruption or a bother to them. They are master cat herders! I would definitely travel with Dream Vacations again.

The entire experience was wonderful! It exceeded our expectations! The Hawaiian related activities & entertainment were a real plus.

The itinerary was very good. You could always use more time in the ports though.

I had way better cruises than this one. This cruise was way by far my worst.

Staff was friendly, food was ok, rooms clean. Specialty dining food was excellent along with the service. No real shopping on the ship, great views.

We were told to go find our luggage when it never showed up at our room. When they completely changed port stops which ruined everyone’s itineraries they had ZERO sympathy. Lost money and spent the entire first day rescheduling rental cars. Gave us TWO days at sea which NO ONE paid for in this old ship that rocked and rolled nonstop. In no way forthcoming about the reality of how old this boat is and cannot handle rough seas so they will change ports. They also withheld this information. I was notified almost 12 hours before by an excursion I booked outside of them. They conveniently waited until at later in the day after we were all on board for hours to say we wouldn’t even be leaving port and then would have an entire day at sea and they changed ALL port days and didn’t give us two days at Maui. They never communicate and would not let you off the ship at the times they said despite being docked. You’d stand in line for almost an hour with ZERO communication as to why. Imagine being in Hawaii and stuck on a ship for days at sea and then not being able to get off when you paid for NO days at sea. Sad that this is what represents the “pride of America.” Do us all a favor and let someone else take over so people can actually enjoy it.

The ship is very nice, the cabin stwards are good, the spa is nice including the hydrotherapy pool; but very disappointed with the food in the main dining room.

Don't think we will cruise on Holland America again. Just did not enjoy the food or entertainment. Did like they had a priest onboard and we were able to attend mass.

A few days of rough weather on the way to Hawaii, but the Koningsdam rode well. Many activities filled the days. Educational series were excellent and well received. Ports were good. Missed Kauai due to high winds and seas. Return sail had many activities again. Seas were calm. Food excellent throughout.

Great stay! Friendly energetic staff, clean ship, tasty food.

Overall we enjoyed being with friends while visiting Hawaii. The cruise was just okay. The food wasn't particularly special. On one occasion there was a pig being carved but the pork that was being served was cut from pork loins previously cooked. The shave ice machine was not working when we looked for it and the ice cream machine was not working for a while.

It was a nice cruise but the sea was pretty rocky on the way over to Hawaii, and a little better on the way back. It was too cool and too windy to spend much time outside on the sea days, but we found enough to do inside to keep us satisfied.

My spouse and I enjoyed this cruise very much and would recommend it. There was plenty to do during the sea days, we learned a lot about Hawaii while on board, and we enjoyed our excursions in the islands, especially to Volcanos National Park.

Beautiful ship. Superb captain, cruise director and team We liked the new Sommelier Pilot program and hope Princess will make it permanent. It elevates and adds another element to the cruise experience and could differentiate from competition.

Don’t bother with Princess if you have food allergies. They aren’t allergen friendly. Ship is olde and needs an update. Pools aren’t heated, so not useable.

Great itinerary, older ship with a mostly American crew since this is the only ocean traveling ship carrying the American flag. Port heavy itinerary and NCL knows it with a reduced amount of entertainment although they fill the slots nicely.

We took the same cruise 20 years ago for our honeymoon. This cruise was no comparison. There was no turn down service, no towel animals or ice sculptures. There were not as many activities on board, and what there was, I really wasn't interested in. I found out the reason they wouldn't let you know about the entertainment in advance was because they probably realized you would change your mind about the cruise if you knew how bad it was!

Had a good time and met lots of new friends that I will likely stay in touch with.
