A few days of rough weather on the way to Hawaii, but the Koningsdam rode well. Many activities filled the days. Educational series were excellent and well received. Ports were good. Missed Kauai due to high winds and seas. Return sail had many activities again. Seas were calm. Food excellent throughout.

Fitness center is excellent and well run by Zane. Recommend moving to 24/7 vice opening/closing times of 6am & 9pm. Lecture series were all very good and well attended: Ships on the return and Hawaiin History & Culture both ways.

Waiters (Wahyu & Suarsana), room stewards (Putu & Hari), Lido staff (Ana, Emily, Mia, Bliss) all were outstanding and did above and beyond.

Ship's layout and design were very good. The K rides well in rough seas. The ship was very clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room was comfortable and always kept clean by our outstanding room stewards (Putu & Hari). Size was sufficient.
Ship tip
Dress in nice clothes when in the main restaurants. Jeans, shorts, sweatshirts, etc are not appropriate.
Big city. Excellent excursion to volcano, lava tube, black sand beach and volcano national park through Trip Advisor. Hanibal was our guide and was excellent.
