I have cruised more than 15 times. This was the worst curse ever. The balcony had more room that the room itself. There was not privacy. When taking a shower or using the rest room anyone coming in the room could see you. The food was the worst. How do you have a buffet with no vegetables? The dining service was also bad, and the waitress had the nerve to tell me her name and where she was from as if to say there is nothing that I could do about her attitude. The entertainment was also bad. After the Blue Man Group there were nights that I had nothing to do. I do not recommend this ship or NCL. This is the second time I went on an NCL ship and they both were bad experiences, but this was the worst.

The ship was huge and all of the staff on the ship were professional, friendly and helpful.

Ship was great for about 3 days. Then it got old. And there were too many people. The food was upscale college cafeteria; not impressive. Overall not a bad trip because of the ports and the touring we were able to do.

This is the third largest ship of the RC line! If I had not been on the largest one, the Oasis of the Sea, I would have had no comparison.

Great ship. Good food. good service

The Carnival Magic is a terrific ship. We really loved the spaciousness of the boat. While some areas by the pools would fill up during popular times, even then there were vacant chaise lounges on Level 5, and the hot tub/whirlpools on Level 5 were often vacant during these times, too. The Lido buffet sometimes was crowded, but we found that if we used the buffet stations more to the aft, they were less crowded and seating was always easily found. Red Frog pub is a wonderful innovation -- what a great change from normal cruise ship bars and bar decor!

Did not like the decor.... looked cheap to us. The food was good. The staff was a bit inexperienced. Food servers forgot to get us our orders, mixed up orders, etc.

Holland America is terrific. Everything went without a hitch. Great value for the price. Fabulous crew, great service. Regret: not the usual good talent for evening show in the theatre. Two nights with no show other than crew, repetitive performers, not terrific talent. This is not what we have become accustomed to on HAL cruises.

Worked out perfectly for us.

Beautiful ship but not my ideal travel mode

The new ships its very nice, bit the concept of adding more rooms and people and leave the same sapace for the thaether and dinning rooms makes the passengers worried about reservations for the night shows and dinning

Overall it was average to slightly above average. Excursions offered by ship are way too expensive for what they include. Food on the ship was average not what we were expecting....andd after 9:00 PM only one option and that was for mini sandwiches the same ones offered 7 straight days. Entertainment on ship was great! Staff on ship friendly!

The ship is beautiful, the services are great, and the personnel are very friendly. It is definitely a high class, sophisticated ship, we had a lot of fun.

NCL has freestyle cruising down nicely, but constant up selling and pushing very expensive drinks, spa services, tous, etc, got old very fast. I am not the only one that noticed, everyone was unhappy with this aggressive policy. On board, I spent nearly 3x more $$$, than I did on similar Med cruise a year ago.

great ship. dining for the most part was excellent. great friendly staff

First cruise on RCI - 6th cruise overall. Less than a third of passengers spoke English - to our surprise- and clientele was much older than our experiences on Princess. Ports were great, but re-boarding the ship was very poorly handled - extremely inefficient! Worst was reembarking after Livorno - went to same port with Princess 3 years ago and it was handled much better. Also, art program was very amateurish and could in no way compare to Princess.

Ship was fabulous. All kid activities were awesome! Shows were fabulous. Every meal at specialty restaurant was incredible!
