Food was the biggest disappointment on this cruise. Lost 3 pounds instead of gaining weight like everyone else says you do on a cruise. Smoking everywhere only enforced was at dinner time. Charged for everything. Paid over $6.00 for a bottle of water. Excursions were short.

physically the ship is ok, because of its size it is iherently difficult to move around in. Lift lines back up for hour or so at a time, service by cabin, excursion, and bufett personnel was not very good. the additional charges for everything added up very quickly. filed lots of comments with the line

Nice ship, some bad service in manhatan room, some waiters made ugly fqces when we ask for coffee, lemons, etc, uncomfortable dinning.

Didn't really have the "feel" or look of a newer ship.

This ship is beautiful!!! My room was awesome and every where on the ship was great.

I enjoyed the cruise very much the crew was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The ship was beautiful and great. I would love to go again.

Entertainment is short except for Blue Man Group and quality not as good as other NCL ships that feature Jean Anne Ryan & Co. performers.

it was good, gym was nice but I would have liked to go swimming but could not since the pool was filled with kids at all times of day

Ship was good and new. Had no issues checking in. Now, shore excursions bookings with Shoreexcursions.com was a a disaster. We had an excursion to Pompaii and Amalfi Coast. Finding the bus tour was horrible. Once found, felt the need to keep checking I was in the right excursion. will never book an excursion if not directly with the ship.

Teh ship was beautiful, the restaurants were great, now on this ship, you must book your restaurants and events way before you get on the cruise or else you will not get to go to the blueman group, the legens in concert, the circus d soleil, and some of the restaurants as they sell out fast and you are only allowed to watch them one night out of the whole cruise, since there are so many people wanting to see them and to eat at these restaurants. The Manhattan room is the free restaurant and they have great food every night, the irish pub is a great alternative if you want to eat any time of the day

I stayed in a balcany room which was great. Room was a bit small but thats to be expected on a cruise ship. Food options were really good. Ship was new and well maintained. Excursions were very expensive in Europe!!!

Great ship

We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. We loved all the storage space in the room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we appreciated having the shuttle buses available from the port to Florence and Rome. The ship is very nicely decorated. The swimming pools are small and overrun with children.

we enjoyed the cruise and will do it again for sure. the staff, except for some people in the guest relations, were very friendly and accommodating. the stateroom attendant and dining waiters gave excellent service. kudos!!!

Typical Carnival summer vacation time cruise. Overbooked and being a brand new ship, training of employees in restaurant area was needed. Lido cafeteria area always too crowded and crew had hard time to keep up. Too few activities planned for entertainment. Carnival has added nice new bars and private areas the Magic. Redfrog pub was a definite improvement from bars in the past.

The ship is beautiful, and it is wasy to get around--maybe we were just lucky, but everything was wonderful.
