It was just ok. by tumeyent

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Escape

Not a bad cruise, ports are far from the major cities. Disappointed in the bars not having any sports on TV. Looking for NFL or other American sports and you can't watch them. Cigar lounge is super small for the ship size. Research the ports way ahead of time.

Great itinerary, OK ship by bmacpt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Escape

Great itinerary! Staff were all excellent. Food was just OK and not as good as we expected. Drinks inconsistent, depending on which bartender you got.

Old Standby by adnasatir

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

You cannot go wrong on an Oasis class ship. Oasis of the Seas is a great choice because it is now the forgotten sibling to all of the newer splashier ships coming from Royal Caribbean.

Lack Luster Cruise by Niccibu

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seaview

To sum up this cruise, if we had cruised on MSC Seaview, with this itinerary first, we would never have chosen to cruise MSC in the United States. The service in the U.S. is so much better.

Mediterranean Cruise with Family of 7 by menendezjorge

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

Discrepancies found once on board. During our reservation with we were told that the two cabins that we were booking could not be near each other bc one was for 3 persons and the other for persons. That let me to believe that the bedding arrangement would be different. That turned out to be untrue. When we got to both cabins they were arranged identical for 4 persons. I had to request my cabin steward to modify ours for just 3 persons to have a little more space. So basically what we were told was not true and we could have had both cabins near each other instead we were about half the ship away. The other discrepancy, we received communication from RC that we would need reservations for the shows. It was very difficult and stressful before our sailing to select and get the show and times we wanted to fit in our schedule. It turned out that with a Gold Card you did not need to make any reservations. In fact, most shows had plenty of empty seats even though trying to reserve ahead of boarding was near impossible.

It was an ok cruise overall by mgreenho

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Silhouette

Cruise was good overall. We would not likely go on the Silohuette again as it’s too old and veery small. But the Shows were awesome.

Overall a great cruise. Celebrity has maintained good food and service on this ship. We picked this cruise primarily for the itinerary and the overall on board experience was great.

Great small port visits !! by Flintlock

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Legend

Very enjoyable, Portugal and Spain are great countries to visit. Kind people willing to share their countries with tourists even when some of us act so foolishly and disrespectful. I apologized more than once for fellow visitors !

Food is terrible - Everything is watered down by khoipsu

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

The services and entertainment are excellent. The food was bad compares to the same ship on a different cruising route, i.e. Caribbean. Everything is watered down or diluted. They can't even do the salad bar right. The ranch and blue cheese dressings were totally tasteless. The Taco bar was horrendous. Everything there was so bland and the sour cream was so watery. It was very difficult to obtain fresh squeeze orange juice for breakfast even with packaged drinks. The dining room food was mediocre at best. Sometimes the buffet food was better.

Great ports but … by ctnova

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

My wife and I were comparing this ship to Princess cruises since that has been our primary cruise line for sailing for most of our lives. The last Princess sailing we were slightly disappointed but we felt it was better than what we experienced on Royal Caribbean. Many pros and cons to each vessel. I think we will try celebrity next and if it doesn’t prove to be better we will return to Princess

Not the same since Royal Carribean bought them by SaulDF

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Silver Moon

Overall ok cruise, but they really need to step it up to get back to where they were a few years ago. We have been loyal Silverseas cruisers, but will now be trying other premium lines

Haven needs fine tuning. Overall good cruise by RCCLPitt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Escape

The Haven product needs a fine-tuning. I would cruise Norwegian Haven again, but it certainly would not be my first choice. Royal Caribbean SkyClass, MSC Yacht Club, Celebrity The Retreat are far superior

Royal Experience on Cunard Queen Victoria by LibertyBella

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Victoria

We have sailed several times on Cunard, and we always enjoy the elegant, traditional, and very British environment on board. We selected the Queen Victoria because the itinerary was ideal, the ship is not overwhelming in size, and the gala nights are a special occasion to shine! We had a wonderful time on our cruise, especially with the splendid on-board entertainment, the delicious dining, the lovely ship, and the interesting ports of call. We would return, and would definitely highly recommend.

Wonderful cruise to Porto, Lisbon, Seville, and Tangier by jenharp23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Equinox

We had a wonderful time on the cruise. Amenities, food, drinks, and activities were great. Made the right decision to be on the highest deck of staterooms, with ours right next to the pool, solarium, and gym/spa, and even with all that, our room was always quiet. The buffet was super convenient being right above us. The ports in Porto, Lisbon, Cadiz, and Tangier were very nice and quaint, and convenient for when we had to hop on our excursions. Embarkation and disembarkation were super easy. Celebrity staff was always very friendly!

Great atmosphere on ship by jwlynch1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Equinox

The Celebrity Equinox was a good ship to cruise. We liked our cabin in Aqua class and the restaurant Blu. The specialty restaurant Tuscany was very good and would go back again. The glass blowing paid activity was worth it for us, we made a special glass heart for our daughter and also a glass turtle which was an additional cost above the basic glass activity.
