Can't go wrong with Royal Caribbean by Kevinc11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Splendour of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Ship remains in good shape and is the optimal size for good service and all the amenities you'd like to have on a week long cruise. The service was excellent and the food was pretty good. We didn't do any of the excursions and found most of the activities available as soon as we left the boat at port. Crete was the only stop that was less than what we expected.

A besutiful cruise by AlessandraV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Costa Victoria / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The ship was very nicely layed out, the restaurants and sittings were very well organised, there were never long lines or long waits for anything. However, for the size ship I was expecting a bigger gym, better pool area and more facilities for kids. This was the ony disappointing aspect of the ship. The food was generally very good and varied, specially the buffets for lunch. While drinks were available at all times from the different bars, hot beverages like tea and coffee were not available at all times and this was inconvenient. All the staff and crew were very friendly and helpful at all times. The night shows were excellent and the ports of call could not be better. I also liked that they ship had environmentally friendly programmes, like for reduced waste and fresh water conser vation. We had a very good time.

A remarkable cruise by DeniseF3

The ship had ample room for the number of passengers, it had plenty of room during the dinner in either the main room or the buffet. The pools, spa, mini-golf, and gym were adequate.

Best Family Cruise by EdgarL

Ship: Splendour of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

This was my first family cruise with my mother, my wife and my daughter. We went to the 7 nights Greek Isles & Turkey. I thought the ship was very nice. It was comfortable and easy to get around. There were plenty of things to do on the ship that there was no time to be bored. The vacation itself was wonderful. My family enjoyed it throughly and I would definitely cruise again with RCL.

Ship: Splendour of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

"Splendor of the Seas" I was very impressed with the overall service we received. My teenage daughter and I had planned this trip for a very long time. Both of us had many activities and a full agenda everyday. We enjoyed every second of the time we were cruising. We are planning to take same of similar cruise with the whole family. Our we are 5 total in our Family 15, 8, 3. I know for a fact that we will all enjoy being there, there is something for everyone. Thank you Royal Caribbean, thanks to this cruise my daughter and I are closer than ever.

Oh My God!!! by JoelW1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Crystal Symphony / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We were wowed by the service level, food quality and efficient operations of the ship. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted a top of the line trip. We have cruised Celebrity, RC, Costa and Carnival. Crystal exceeded our very high expectations and it will be tough to travel any other line from now on. From champagne on boarding to the Bellinis served when we were approaching Venice, this line knows how to pamper their guests. We enjoyed the upscale crowd, and were relieved that it was not a stuffy group. There was only one formal night, which was fine for us. There were few tattoos and body piercings, and more wine and martinis than beer on this ship. The Bistro with complementary espresso drinks hot and cold all day was great. It offered food throughout the day, which we took advantage of. We would pop in for a quick breakfast or a snack after getting back on board after a port. The continuous smoked salmon, and Prosciutto and melon was a nice treat for a quick snack. Our only letdown was that the entertainment was mediocre at best. We opted for drinks rather than the show on a few nights.

A lovely ship, but too large for my taste. Food was good, not great. The staff were absolutely incredible - courteous, helpful and professional.

Enjoyed a New Experience with Norwegian by ladysnake828

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Norwegian Jade / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Overall, my group enjoyed the cruise but none of us wish to return to Israel due to traffic issues and bad tour experiences. I will note again, the professionalism of the ship's officers and their availability to travelers.

Trip of a lifetime by AdmiralMia

It was an amazing cruise. Loved seeing all of the ports with a sea day at the end to relax. As usual RCL staff was excellent. Excursions were great and a lot to choose from. Just wish they would switch up the MDR menu a bit. Would definitely recommend

Great European Tour by KEBROZOV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Brilliance of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

This was our first cruise and it was a truly memorable experience! The food was great the service was exceptional and the tours provided memories of a lifetime. The only tour we could have done without was Santorini but we ended up finding the best restaurant of the experience that we likely would have missed otherwise. Thank you Royal Caribbean for the adventure of a lifetime!

A potentially great ship let down by too many niggles by lwdcourt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Odyssey of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Sadly the experience was badly let down by poor entertainment and poor food, two essentials that don't require the huge technological investment RCI seem intent on delivering!

Solo Greek Isles Cruise on the NCL Gem by mercruisessolo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Gem / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Despite the embarkation/disembarkation process and location, overall this trip was absolutely wonderful. From the crew to the ship to the ports, I would not hesitate to do this itinerary over again more than once. I do wish some of the times in port were a bit longer, but for my first time doing Greek Isles itinerary I was more than pleased and enjoyed every minute of the cruise. As a solo traveler, NCL handles 'freestyle' wonderfully and I never feel isolated or alone unless I want to be. I met so many wonderful people on this cruise, and despite being in my early 30s I felt the general age range to be evenly spread out and did not skew to the older crowd as many tend to think when they think of cruising. There were fewer kids on this cruise, which suited me well; this could have been due to either the itinerary or the time of year, I'm not sure. The vibe on the ship was fun and lively and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves watching the live music each night. This was my 10th NCL cruise (8th solo!) and only reinforced my loyalty and desire to return.

Never Book Norewegian by Benji20

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Gem / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Terrible experience getting to the ship and home. Staff very friendly on board, food really mediocre (Worst of the 12 cruises I have been on, except for the last day, the food was good on the last day). The three ports we got to see were pretty great. Too much stress to make it a great experience though.
