Sail Date: July 23, 2006
Ship: Splendour of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)

The ship had ample room for the number of passengers, it had plenty of room during the dinner in either the main room or the buffet. The pools, spa, mini-golf, and gym were adequate.

Although it was hot, the acropolis and parthanon are a must see.

The ancient walled city was great to visit but very crowded due to other cruise ships in port at the same time. The shopping and site seeing was hot and crowded.

This was my favorite place during the cruise. The scenery as we went to the Acropolis were fantastic. Our tour guide was the best, he knew the history, important facts and information that made our excursion worth the money. I would come back to Rhodes for another vacation.
Don't Miss: The Acropolis/ruins

Delos and shopping are a must in this port. The tour of the ruins were well worth the effort and our tour guide was great.

Pros: I enjoyed the service and the staff. They could not do enough for us.

Cons: Our Room(s) 6526 & 6508 were a little too small.
