7 Night Greek Isles & Turkey (Venice Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 30, 2006
Ship: Splendour of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

Ship remains in good shape and is the optimal size for good service and all the amenities you'd like to have on a week long cruise. The service was excellent and the food was pretty good. We didn't do any of the excursions and found most of the activities available as soon as we left the boat at port. Crete was the only stop that was less than what we expected.

Nothing special in terms of the entertainment. The constant emphasis on appealing to international speaking folks got a bit old.

Just another big city like Rome. Definitely take a taxi...don't listen to the people who say to take the Athen's nightmare.
Don't Miss: Acropolis

This stop was what you'd expect when looking at postcards of the Greek islands.

Great rug shopping and friendly people. Visit the Turkish Bathhouse tool.

Nothing special here on this half day stop.
