Great Cruise/Great Price by antjackson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Mariner of the Seas

The Mariner of the Seas is a great value. If you don’t want the big ship experience, Mariner is a great choice.

Wonderful cruise Wxperience by cathy72298836

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas

Everything about the ship, crew, activities, and experience is 5 stars. Unfortunately I have to give the dining room food and buffet 4.5 stars. Food was good but they just missed the mark for excellent. Carnival has them beat on food choices and flavor. Plus Carnival has Guy Fieri’s Burgers and Blue Iguana Cantina which are included with price. RC has a hotdog place so no comparison. But they did handle food allergies extremely well and even made GF desserts. Everything else about the cruise is 5 stars!

Epic Family Vacation by bethy884

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Icon of the Seas

The Icon of the Seas was a perfect boat for our family of four with late elementary age kids. There was so much to do on board and we loved all the different neighborhoods and restaurants scatterd throughout. It did not feel crowded even though there were about 6000 passengers on board!

Overall pretty boring and less than average. by Dianesal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas

Overall the cruise was fine but not up to our expectations as it generally didn't have a lot of things to do the peaked our interest. We only found one show that we thought was really good. The food was ok. The room service for morning breakfast was fantastic because of the convenience of it, although they made a mistake with our order more than once. In general this was an ok cruise, but if it were the only one I had ever been on, I wouldn't ever have interest in going on another cruise because it simply was kind of boring.

Great Western Caribbean Cruise! by OneTraveler

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas

This cruise was the perfect length for us as new cruisers. There were plenty of things to do on board despite the weather being chilly and windy. Many of the activities were included in the price. The entertainment was one of these and the performers were very impressive!

Super grateful the captain kept us safe from the rough waters.. our itinerary changed due to a storm but we were ok with it. I dont think anyone was upset. We had a blast at the new island anyway by Latinmely7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Independence of the Seas

We had a great time. I would recommend to actually get an excursion from the ship.. we went outside and literally went on a taxi ride for 3 hours and brought back.. waste of money

Amazing Family Vacation by Cruiser5218930

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Independence of the Seas

Independence of the Seas is one of my favorite ships for small kids. There's still lots to do, but I don't feel like I'm paying for a bunch of extra features that I don't get to enjoy because I have small kids like I do on the larger ships.

Wonderful Onboard Experience by TravelinKatie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Apex

The Apex is stunning, especially the Retreat areas. The art alone is a reason to book. Luminae food was delicious, as always. Service was impeccable. Downside: all port excursions were canceled on this journey without notice until the last minute and without compensation. These excursions were the reason for booking this trip. As the ship had several very large parties aboard (one had 1500 members and one other 500), all common areas were far overcrowded, loud and without seating. Chair hogs were out in force. I was informed that cabins were overbooked and many had 4 occupants. Buffet requires a complete overhaul as the food was of low quality and for the most part, inedible. Celebrity truly needs to stop their over-profiting and return to the quality cruise line they were until last year.

Disappointment! by alisonleone

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Overall we were disappointed. The food, the service and general lack of attention of the staff is not what it was. I will also say, there used to be people from all countries around the world. This ship seemed to have many staff from about 3 countries, and the rest of the countries were not really represented. I feel like this is a “training” ship, and it shows.

The cruise was really enjoyable, and we would do it again, but would be more selective of our excursions.
