Overall the cruise was enjoyable. The ship was laid out very well. Clean, nice decor, and even 2 Starbucks!! The food was pretty good across the board. But if you want the best experience the premium dining was great but was booked almost solid from the beginning. The cruise line had been running a promo where you got free premium dining and I think they over promoted that one cause it was jammed up when on board. The accommodations for Disabled guests sucks. If you want a room that can hold scooters wheelchairs (as they cannot be left in the halls or common areas) you have to book WAYYYYY in advance, and the rooms are usually the higher cost ones which isn’t fair for those who need it but can’t afford those rooms. We had a balcony room and there is NO way anything besides a cane or a folded up walker was going to fit in there and even that was a challenge.. not ok. As for the elevators, Norwegian needs to take note that their decision to board people in ports via deck 5 and deck 4 is CRAP! the people with scooters and wheelchairs were directed to deck 4 while the bulk of everyone else went via deck 5. Well guess what happens when the elevators all stop at deck 5, and fill up? They head back up and everyone on deck 4 sits and rots FOREVER.. my parents are disabled and cannot go up the stairs. We waited for over 30 minutes to try and get an elevator. No one was policing them, helping assist disabled guests, it was a free for all with the occasional one that would come to deck 4, everyone that was physically more able would crowd it and stuff it full. NOT ok.

Excellent cruise overall. The entire stall, except for the internet service were very friendly and helpful.

Not happy about the service charges. Would be nice if crew was paid a living wage. Come to find out that the service charges are shared by all and not the person or persons providing the service.

I would like to cruise this area again with carnival in the future. During the cruise, I was mesmerized by the beauty and the handiwork of God. I am still looking at the photos that were taken everyday as a reminder of the spectacular views.

Worst experience ever! ship is old everything outdated repairs are done at sea . Princess cruise was a complete waste of money never again carnival is much better in every way.

Excellent cruise if you want to spend a lot of time with family. Friendly staff, clean interiors. Not too impressed with the spa and its staff but over all experience was wonderful. Highly recommend Holland America.

All the staff was friendly, the boat has the perfect size, very clean, the food in the dining room was good, but at the buffet was not good.

Overall a great trip, some more time on the port calls would have been nice. The luggage transfer to the airport was the worst part. Someone owes us $80. Today we found additional charges on our credit card and we don't know what they are for, they were not on our bill. Please contact use.

Do not waste your money with Norwegian. After all of the difficulties we encountered we were offered a credit of $100 towards our next Cruise on Norwegian. I sent an email back to the Customer service Manager who sent me the offer and let him know that I would never sail this cruise line again even if was free.

Do not read any reviews for April Cruise on 2019. They are biased as they are from the Travel Agents who received a free cruise to go. Food was horrendous at the Garden Café. to the point we waited until we got to port to eat lunch. Even breakfast they screwed up. Do not let them take your luggage, you will never see it again. They do not know how to transfer your luggage in Seattle. Still do not have my luggage. Staff is CLUELESS. They do not speak English well and cannot answer your questions. Children's club took the kids to the nightclub where alcohol is served. Avoid the Joy and take another ship. Do not go for concierge level. After 5 days we went down to meet the Concierge as he never showed up, he was not at his station. Had to go to regular guest services to make dining reservations as he was never around. They even changed my show reservations and dining prior to getting on the ship and cancelled some dining reservations without asking me what I wanted.

Our first cruise and what a wonderful experience. We initially had concerns about seasickness, but no problem. There were plenty of things to do that kept us occupied. Outstanding food choices and service.

I would highly recommend this cruise. Holland America has years of experience and provides great service, trained staff, delicious food , well planned excursions and a variety of entertainment and on board experiences.

Too big for me. Especially, the company has an issue of efficient operating system: E.g., A long waiting line of customer service; unbelieable long waiting time to get off the ship. It is very unfortunate that the company was not predicting and preparing this with ~4000 people on the board.

We are from Florida and even thought we have cruised a few times before this was our first Carnival cruise. I don`t think I would choose Carnival for a Bahamas/Caribbean cruise based on the popularity and party aspect of the ships. I wasn`t sure what to expect for an Alaska cruise but our overall experience was pretty good. Our cabin was big and clean. Decoration a bit outdated. Entertainment was good and fun. Food could have been a little better. Excursions was pricey either booking with cruise line or not. People were nice.

Everything was very nice. I would recommend to get steak knives.

We loved this cruise - everything about it was great and this is the first time traveling to Alaska and taking a Princess cruise. Would definitely go again and only on Princess!
