Interesting getting on the ship early to watch the harbor at work. Loading of cargo ships is fascinating!

Boarding was smooth and ate some nice snacks in the buffet before we had to muster for our safety brief. We could have boarded way earlier than advertised

If you plan to stay overnight, I strongly suggest the Crowne Plaza. A great harbor hotel very near the port with plenty to do within walking distance around the harbor (Battleship Iowa Museum, Ports of Call Village and a marketplace). The rate is comparable to other hotels not as nice or as close. If you drive, you can leave your car while on your cruise plus they have a shuttle to the ship (there are parking and shuttle fees). Suggest you use Lyft or Uber from and to the hotel...much less expensive than the hotel shuttle.

Everything was well organized, and the terminal waiting area was clean and comfortable. Lots of staff available and directing passengers where to go or what to do next.

The Port of Los Angeles is a lot more efficient than when we last visited -- we quickly found our luggage, went through customs, and got a taxi and were out of there in mere minutes.

Took a quick uber to the airport. This was our disembark port. Port was clean, but semi far from other areas. Lots of trash on the sides of the freeway to LAX, is this State too broke to clean up?

Quick and easy port to embark and disembark. Also a great View heading out to sea. Seeing dolphins and seals lots of other great views to see also there's a naval ship there that you could take a tour on
