Review summary

The perfect family vacation. Something for everyone and no one can stray too far! We already made a deposit for our next cruise. Can't wait.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
So easy to board! Organized and much quicker than anticipated. Friendly and helpful staff covered all bases.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the dining room every night, but to be honest, the buffet was perfect for my diverse family. We all seemed to find something different and the casual atmosphere was easy and comfortable.

Trident Grill

4 out of 5

If you go to the Trident Grill, try the bratwurst. Yum!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
If you get bored it's your own fault! We enjoyed the various pop-up shopping events, wandering musicians and dance lessons. Jacuzzi every night after dinner. Main showroom had terrific comedians and musicians. Bummed out I missed the magician...heard he was good.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
My favorite place was Explorers Lounge. More intimate with the entertainers. Funch is too much fun! Wish I had joined more of the game nights. Guests were laughing so hard!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Michael took such good care of our every need. Every night we had a different treat waiting on our bed. I travel with a little stuffed kitty and he had it in a different pose every night! So cute! Carlos was our waiter in the dining room and he was such a gentleman.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It took a full day to get the "lay of the land". The ship is large but one you get the hang of it, it's easy to get somewhere pretty fast. Clean ship and everything was in working order.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was just lovely for my mom and I. We had a small fridge for our water and wine. Bedding was outstanding! Slept like a baby! Enjoyed some great movies in outer room, too.

Ship tip

I was on the ship to relax but looking back, I wish I had joined more of the onboard activities. Really read all the daily mail in your "mailbox". You'll know everything that's going on daily. Also, the phone app is very good but wish it would alert for incoming messages.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
Interesting getting on the ship early to watch the harbor at work. Loading of cargo ships is fascinating!

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
Only had one day in Vancouver but am already planning a trip back to visit. Clean, friendly and beautiful.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
As organized as the embarkation. Perfect in every way. I was traveling with my handicapped father and it was so easy.
