We did the hop on top off bus tour. Great way to see where you want to stop and get some history on Key West. We went to Sloppy Joes and Dirty Kevin's. Fun town.

Lots of tourists, locals, bars, restaurants, shops, and....free ranging chickens! They just wander around, here and there. We only had a four or five hour window at port, so we rented a golf cart and the four of us tooled around to see the sights. Many tourists on this sunny Sunday, so we got in line to have our photos taken at the southernmost land point. Being native New Englanders, we just had to see "Mile 0" of Route 1, which goes all the way through coastal Maine. We parked and walked around a bit, grabbing refreshments and a T-shirt at the Hard Rock Cafe. My sister bought Cuban cigars near the port at a store with a statue of a Native American Chief in front. I'm 64, so I have mixed feelings about that one. It would have been nice to have a few more hours to see the Hemingway Museum and shop a bit more, but we had a fair taste of the populated area. Kind of reminds me of Provincetown at Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Well worth getting off the ship for...
