We took NCL because of their reputation, this ship was a huge disappointment. Had we not been to Havana (which made the whole trip), this would have been a terrible trip.

The buffet was terrible, the staff was very unfriendly. The dining rooms were fabulous with very friendly staff and great service. The bartenders were awesome, great drinks. The bar service folks were as unfriendly as the buffet employees. Tipping them felt like an obligation.
Onboard Activities

Our group (9 people) managed to do most everything. Everything was a blast aside of the bingo, this seemed rigged being it was computer generated number. As a bingo player we want to see the balls pulled from a drum!

Our room steward was unfriendly, not sure he spoke much English. Tipping him felt like an obligation. Bartenders set the standard and not much other staff lived up to it.

This would have gotten 0 if I could have! The rooms were the worst! Very small! the room we were in should not have been for 3 people. Once the pullout was out there was no space to walk. The person sleeping on that bed literally had to climb over the folks on the bed to use the restroom, not to mention the closest was so small it could not accommodate 3 pieces of luggage. Our bathroom smelled like raw sewage the whole time. The shower went freezing cold to extremely hot several times during a single shower. There was water stain damage on the walls. We went almost 2 days without balcony chairs. We had 4 rooms in our group, and ours wasn't the worse. We were in 224 and family that was in 223 had only burning hot water in their room which forced them to shower in our rooms the first 3 days!
Cabin / Stateroom

Stated it in the above comments! It was the worse! These cabins need a serious make over and they should stop selling them until this happens! Also, this should be no more than a 2 person room. Although we didn't plan to spend much time in our rooms this really left us no place to unwind for a few!
Ship tip
NOT DO IT!!!! NCL is known for luxury, the Sky is no where near that, take another ship!
Was fabulous!!!! Some of our group jet skied and some rented a golf cart and drove around. Super friendly folks everywhere we went. Great beach town!s We will visit again!
Did you get an inside cabin? Did you get the cheapest available cabin. It’s like any business. You get what you pay for. Did you like the free drinks. The ship was late because it just came out of dry dock.
