Worse cruise ever, smallest ocean view room we have ever stayed in. Limited room for clothing and personal belongings. Dry dock was a great face lift but everything else was dated, well used and nonfunctional. The theme on the ship was; why would that work nothing else does. We have been on 6 previous NCL cruises, would not recommend this ship until all the kinks are worked out.
Embarkation

Staff outstanding, ship not ready as scheduled. Needed to wait 3 addityhours to board the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food was warm, service excellent. Food flavors and quality of the food has gone down over the years. Drink taste was inconsistent bar to bar for same type of drink. The only consistency is what came out of a can.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Older population on cruise ship, not many activities geared to an elderly age group.
Service and Staff

Ship Quality
2 out of 5
First cruise after being at dry dock. Fresh new look furniture, carpet & bedding. Ceilings, woodwork, and walls showed their age. Many public restrooms non functional. Air conditioning system didn’t work for a couple of days. Often smelled sewage on port side of ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Smallest ocean view room I’ve ever been in. Pack very light, less storage space ever! Room outlets, refrigerators, safes and ceiling lights non functional. Multiple calls to maintenance for repairs.
Ship tip
Give this ship a few months to work out the kinks and repairs!
Great opportunity, the community was welcoming to Americans and happy to share their culture with us. Rented covertuaes and did the country tour. Outstanding!
It’s never a good thing to sail on a ship just out of dry dock. Sorry it happened to you but when we book the cruise we never know when that will happen. Same thing is true on maiden voyages on ships. Just ask any Titanic survivor....
