I can't believe that the cruise lines are leaving this port in April. The facility, parking access to the ship and exit through customs is the best that we have experienced. It is a shame that this facility could be used for Obama's refugees.

We went to the Space Center Houston and it was very informative and well worth the time spent there. The Level 9 tour there is our recommendation if you really want a special and very knowledgable tour. It is more costly, but worth it.

Prefer Galvasten Port as Houston is just so congested with traffic. The port itself wasn't congested and parking was convenient and porters were good. Boarding wasn't too bad, although still lines to go through even when you complete everything you can on line. But all in all, boarding wasn't too long a wait.

Lots of homeless people stopping traffic for some reason. The port was also closed down for good after it was delayed too many times for fog and financial hardship. The city has a rough demographic. Hotel Derek is nice, though.
