Galveston is our home away from home so I’m biased. Water isn’t very appealing but the history & character of the island is always a pleasure. Lighthouse Parking is highly recommended.

Five stars for all of the workers for the port! Every single person we encountered was very polite and helpful, from helping us park, guiding us where to go next, to checking us in. For some reason we did not have the boarding pass with bar code & there was someone there to help & print it (them) out for us. That was really cool!

We love Galveston! We spent one night before the cruise and we spent 3 nights after the cruise. So much to see and do in Galveston. Great places to eat, shop, and tour. Something for everyone.

Cool town! We would love to visit for a long weekend. It was very busy due to it being spring break week. We stayed in a hotel overnight before the cruise. It was near ocean front which was nice to walk on the beach. The strand is the old downtown area. Would love to stay there next time and explore the shops and restaurants.

I'm so excited for next year! I've never been to Galveston or on a cruise! I cant wait. Lil nervous I must admit. I've heard so much good about cruises.

I spent one night in Galveston before the cruise. The most awesome thing was meeting our Airbnb hosts Jim and Lynn and her father Stan, and them showing us around, walking with us, and taking us to a wonderful Church, the first black church in Texas, which should not be missed! The Gospel music and lead keyboard man were truly inspirational and inspired.
