I would give five stars, because it is a very nice port, but I wish they had more signs leading up to it. Both of my Lyft drivers got lost trying to find the location - on the way there with us, and the driver that came to pick us up. Several other people mention their rides were canceled because the port could not be located easily.

We arrived early to explore Galveston before boarding the Breeze. We went to Bubba Gumps for dinner. Both of our meals were terrible and took about 45 minutes to receive them.

Stayed the night before at the DoubleTree near the airport. Used hotel shuttle to go from and to the airport. Used the Carnival transportation from the airport to the ship.

Stayed in Houston the night before and drove into Galveston the next day (used Galveston Limo). Galveston looks like a nice town and would probably stay there if we cruise out of this port again. They have a nice little downtown area and also some sights to see (Moody mansion and gardens looks nice) so may do that. The port itself is very industrial and not really attractive.
