Our excursions were awesome.
If Carnival would restrict guest to the designated smoking area at the aft of deck 11 it would have been a great cruise. Passengers were allowed to smoke at the seating right next to the doors on deck 11 which in turn brought the smoke into our floor. There was also smoking in (and outside) of the liquid lounge and casino. We did not gamble because of it. Passengers also smoked on balconies so we could not even escape it in our own room. Mind you we did not purchase the cheap seats here. I have allergies so it was miserable.

We had anytime dining this cruise and were not a big fan. The dining area was definitely not an experience to write home about. The staff was pleasant and prompt. The food however was subpar. Did enjoy the cheese plate and shrimp cocktail.

We tried to partake in all the activities possible. We enjoyed the lido, comedy club and a couple of performances in the theater. They were very good.

Our cabin was a balcony 11247. Our room steward Yuri was fantastic. We tipped him throughout the cruise for his exception service.

Ship tip
Don't pay to be one deck 11 unless you are a smoker. The smell is terrible
We arrived early to explore Galveston before boarding the Breeze. We went to Bubba Gumps for dinner. Both of our meals were terrible and took about 45 minutes to receive them.
In Cozumel with Cozumel Cruise Excursions. It was the private dune buggy excursion. Our guide was the best. We did the tequila tour and Punta Sur. We has the best time.
When we went to port on tender it was quite slow getting to Belize. We did the Buttz Up ATV and tubing tour. It was an adventure. lol If you have bad knees or hip I wouldn't suggest this one. The trek into the river was quite the hike. Other than that we had a blast.
In Roatan (Mahogany Bay) We went on the Victor Bodden Zipline and Monkey tour. Again this is a hike but well worth it. If you do the monkeys make sure you get there early. It was packed when we were there and did not get much time with monkey and were not allowed to hold sloths. We also paid to go on the flying chairs. It was a great view.
I always book balcony and if someone smokes I report them. I have my rights. They know the rules and where the smoking areas are. I put up with it in the casino because it's a smoking area. Why I book balcony.
