This was our embarkation/debarkation port. We did stay there for one night and it appears to be a fun area.

Boarded the ship in Galveston. The check in area is a bit of a madhouse.

Bubba Gump Seafood Co. A little pricey for the portion sizes. You definitely pay for the name here. The food was average at best. It is located on the Pleasure pier, which looked like fun.

I really liked Galveston. Before boarding the ship, we walked along the beach and visited a little gift shop off the beach. I was able to buy some sunglasses and some other things that were cheaper than they would have been on the ship.

I've been to Galveston many times. We went down one day early to take in some of the night entertainment before the cruise to not feel so rushed for the next day.

Very helpful parking staff and porters. Embarked and debarked is all we did here

We went to Galveston 2 days before the cruise to visit. There is lots to do so spend some time either before or after your cruise there.
