Review summary

The ship itself while old was enjoyable. The centrum area if fabulous and the ship kinda has an old world feeling. Shows were very boring and outdated, the arcade was almost non existent and there was little else for kids.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarking actually went fairly quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food in the main dining was okay. Our head waiter was great and always exceeded expectations. Windjammer was disappointing and the drink package that we purchased was a flop. The machines were empty more often than not.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
The arcade sucked, the trampoline was never open and the shows were mediocre at best.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The comedians were good however the actual shows were horrible.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
We didn’t utilize the clubs but the other available activities were lacking.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
We saw our room steward once, our assistant waiter apparently quit and we actually purchased the key but no one on the ship even understood this program, which caused a significant delay on exiting the ship.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is old but they’ve done a good job keeping it updated.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was much larger than expected.

Ship tip

Bring a plug splitter with USB ports.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
This was our embarkation/debarkation port. We did stay there for one night and it appears to be a fun area.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
Def a tourist trap but for shopping it’s a Mecca.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the tour of chizen itza, which was amazing. That being said due to the length of this excursion we didn’t see Cozumel.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
We had paid for the key program and unfortunately didn’t exit the ship until 9 Bc of an uninformed crew.
