This is not the most convenient cruise port, and it can be costly for transfers from the airport and/or hotels in Newark. The route is much better than our first time there, and the area has been much improved - our first trip was almost scary passing through the area.

It was an easy port to enter, lots of covered parking within yards of the terminal and super easy to board the ship quickly. Price was good for the parking, especially with it being covered and secure.

I prefer to leave for a cruise out of a Florida port, but Cape Liberty isn't bad.

Took two hours to get down the driveway, another hour to get in. I asked where I could get a glass of water and was told I could buy a bottle of water at the bar... How about a beverage stand so we don't have to wait in a line 200 people long to get a glass of water.

Easy to board the ship. We did not have to fly which worked for us.
