The Embarkation was fast! We were on the ship by 11:00 am. No waiting at the terminal!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the main dining room (Silk) for and Windjammer for our meals. The food was typical Royal Caribbean fair. Plenty of choices and most were very good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did most of the activities offered. All are great. There are numerous activities to choose from!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Overall the shows were very good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was excellent from our waiters, the bartenders and our room steward, as well as any other personnel we interfaced with.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Anthem design is fantastic. It is well kept up and very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a Jr Suite. Very nice, spacious and overall fantastic! It had a walk in shower, a separate tub and a sink in one space. It had a separate ca-mode and sink in another space. Great to have when sharing bathroom facilities with your spouse!

Ship tip

Take time to explore and enjoy. There is so much to see and do on this ship!

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

4 out of 5
I prefer to leave for a cruise out of a Florida port, but Cape Liberty isn't bad.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
The weather was beautiful, as was Bermuda. It is very clean and the people are friendly. A wonderful port to visit! We did not sign up for an excursion, but explored on our own. It is easy to get around via ferry and/or bus.

Boston, Massachusetts

4 out of 5
When we first booked this cruise, Boston was not on the itinerary. It was added at a later date. We chose a Royal Caribbean sponsored Trolley Tour. It happened to be rainy and cold, but we made the best of it. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I would have rather stayed in Bermuda, but we had no say in the itinerary change.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We took our bags off the ship in a very timely manner. The biggest issue was waiting more than 40 minutes for an Uber. Luckily we were not in a rush to get to the airport.
