Easy port to get to. My drive is 6 hours and I didn’t have any traffic issues. There’s plenty of parking. It’s $20 a day to park, which is a little expensive but it is very safe so it’s worth it. I would take a cruise out of this port again.

Check in and out process was easy. Best to arrive early because the traffic to get to the port gets VERY heavy.

The traffic getting to the Port was backed up for 30+ minutes -- leave earlier than you think you need to.

Loved the 9/11 memorial that you could see from the ship and it was withing walking distance. After the cruise, we visited Ellis Island and the Statute of Liberty on our own before heading home. We did not do any excursions.

Spent day before in NYC. Easy train ride from hotel/airport. Drove to port around 930 am. Super easy.
