Nothing to do in the port itself, but NYC is right there if you had time to explore before/after the cruise.

Traffic was horrible and the police are jerks. There was one line of traffic. They actually blocked it and hed it up to give a man a ticket. No exaggerating, they were city police and had an extremely bad attitude. No help with directing the traffic, just issuing tickets in traffic .

Easy to get in and out of this port. Reasonable parking cost, lots of space to park, efficient embarkation and debarkation, truly the fastest we ever had.

We only parked there. We did enjoy seeing the Statue of Liberty at the beginning and end of the cruise.

Went into NYC the day before to visit the 911 Museum and to see a Broadway show. Transportation was timely and costly but okay for a one-time experience.

We are from Australia and disembark at this port. We fly to Miami about 6pm. Any suggestions on how to get to NYC - what to see in that short time. Also how long it will take to get to the domestic airport from NYC.
