The city is superb but when 4300 people have to go through US Immigration it simply is too many!

We did two days in NY before the cruise, being from a one stop light town, NY is not for me, sorry. Plenty to do, plenty to see, I miss grass, horns not blowing, and having elbow room

Right in the centre in Manhatten. Did our own thing, walked an hour to Museum of Modern Art and saw a fabulous exhibition of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural drawings, plus Monets, Van Gogh, Picasso etc etc. Then a self organised boat trip up to see the Statue of Liberty up close....

Great port to sail from. A convenient taxi ride from Times Square. The lines moved fast and it is cool to see the Statue of Liberty as you sail away!

There is nothing better than cruising out of New York City and getting to take in the entire manhattan skyline as you sail away - you could also view the Statue of Liberty and the jersey side as well. It’s the best!
