We drove down to Miami the night before our cruise and stayed in a hotel. It made it less hectic trying to get to the port in the morning. There was some traffic getting to the port, but that's expected. It was easy to get on the ship.

Flew into Miami airport and took a cab for $27. Our driver was fantastic. He gave us a tutorial on the way to the cruise port. He have us a Direct drop off at the msc area, fast and easy. The luggage attendants were quick and we were off to the check in area! Definitely would recommend!!

Miami has great food, scenery, and so much to offer but it just might do you in to get to any of it. The hotels are so expensive and include almost nothing; anything other than your bed is a paywall. The traffic is rightly earned of it's horrible reputation and the tolls do nothing to make it better. The people are friendly but it's not enough. Next time, I'll stay outside of the city.

We flew in to Miami the day before the cruise and we found an excellent hotel that was 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the port of Miami. They also provided a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port as well as a complimentary breakfast. We will definitely use this hotel for future cruises.

Embarkation was super fast, even without the FTTF. No wait time at all.

We just got off the Vista today after Looking forward to it for a long time. The ship was not impressive ,very small atrium compared to the breeze. Overrated. Nothing else stood out. We were in the family harbor which was nice since we are a big family the lounge was convenient to have for snacks and meeting spot. The room was nice although it seemed so much larger in pics , the extended balcony was awesome! Our ac had issues but the response time was fast. The food was good and variety was good, we had anytime dining and did not have to wait much although going to that the 5th floor to check in every night was inconvenient. Guys burgur, blue iguana and red frog pub are the best. We didn't try lobster shack. Went to jiji and cucina de capitano for lunch and both were terrible. We missed Curaçao because of the weather . If you want to go to the punchliner comedy club plan on missing dinner they are no longer late night since the same space is used for the night club at night . There was enough sitting space by the pool and they were not crowded. The sky ride and slides were fun for the kids. Debarkation was fast. We highly recommend the dine buggy excursion in la romana, eagle beach in Aruba and Margaritavile in gran Turk. Service was good overall. We like the Breeze better.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn South Beach for 1 night post cruise and really enjoyed the location and all the sights. The hotel is only one block from the beach and has a rooftop pool.
