Carnival Victory is a great ship and I'm glad I got the chance to sail on it before it gets redone and gets a new name. It was great for us as a couple for a quick getaway. Definitely recommend! Can't wait to cruise Carnival again in August.

So relaxing, favorite part of the ship. Beautiful place to watch the sunset or sunrise. The seats do fill up quick though, so make sure to get up there early.

All of the staff was wonderful. The waiters in the dining room were always polite and food was always quick. Our room steward, Jennifer, was so sweet. She made she we had everything we needed and our room was always spotless!

Victory is a beautiful ship, it was always clean and had plenty of seating options throughout.
Cabin / Stateroom

We chose an interior cabin to fit our budget. The room was a perfect size for the two of us. I love that we had the option to have our twin size beds converted into a king size bed. We did not have a window in our room, which was nice because it kept our room dark and cool at night. Make sure you set an alarm if you're in one of these rooms, it's easy to sleep in late when it's so dark!
Ship tip
Make sure to download the Carnival Hub app. It's extremely helpful in planning your days and seeing what's happening on the ship during every moment.
We drove down to Miami the night before our cruise and stayed in a hotel. It made it less hectic trying to get to the port in the morning. There was some traffic getting to the port, but that's expected. It was easy to get on the ship.
Key West was beautiful. Our ship wasn't there long, so we didn't book any excursions. We walked around for some sight seeing, stopped at Willie-T's for a drink which was a really cool experience, and did some window shopping. Beautiful place.
We rented a jeep from a local rental company that was very trustworthy and well worth the price. We drove around the island and found a nice beach by a restaurant. The water was crystal clear and the locals were all friendly.
