Best part of our trip. If I had to do over, would have saved our money and stayed in Charleston.

This seemed like a nice port to board and disembark.

Charleston Sole Walking Tours with Fin recommended. King Street restaurants Basil Thai and Closed for Business are excellent, as is Low Country BIstro on East Bay Street. Embassy Suites offers free breakfast and an evening reception with free drinks and appetizers.

Wonderfully close port, wonderful workers but a long way from convenience in parking. Although I did appreciate the knowledge of my care locked securely in a warehouse. Regardless, use this port, arrive early and be patient.
