Review Summary

The ship was clean, the crew was great, as were the passengers. The excursions not worth it. The ship was moving all over the place, made eating and drinking difficult. Next trip back to staying at a resort.

Embarkation

Getting on the ship was pretty simple. There were no real problems. Really, it's just getting on the boat.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good, not great. It was a nice selection but was a little bland.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Pool was cold, one hot tub was nice, one was cold. There wasn't much else to do, a ping pong table, small mini golf. Water park was okay.

Entertainment

Children's Programs

Not much to do for kids. Lots of bars, large smoky casino.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Older ship but clean. The thing I had a huge problem with was the candy shop for kids was located in the middle of the smoke filled casino.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was nice, television barely worked and most of it was in Spanish.

Ship Tip

Study ship maps. Hard to find places.

Ports Of Call

Charleston, South Carolina

4 out of 5
Best part of our trip. If I had to do over, would have saved our money and stayed in Charleston.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Was in the middle of an industrial area, not a good first impression of the Bahamas.

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
Spent $500 to swim with the dolphins and spend day at the beach. By the time we were bussed to the resort and were taken to the dolphin area, we spent maybe 20-30 minutes with the dolphins. The pickup spot to catch the bus back to port was the opposite side of the resort and nowhere near the beach. Needless to say we never saw the beach, IN THE BAHAMAS! The one star is for the city of Nassau and the people.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
It was getting off the ship, nothing exciting.
