If you have the time, come a day early or stay a day after your cruise and explore the area. Great place to visit.

Be aware that the port/dock is old. It is not a pretty sight, therefore we heard from fellow travelers that they didn't care for the port. We chose this particular port because it was closest to our home--we could drive in, not fly in. We would use this port again.

Parking is pricey (119.00) for the wk, old area of town, sad that a city like Charleston doesnt have a nicer port facility cruises.

Arrive early, carriage tours close at 5:00. Last tours I believe start at 4:00 and tickets can be purchased in town.
